Enjoy a team-building away day with a difference – in the beautiful surroundings of St Nicholas Fields Local Nature Reserve. Our green away days can be tailored to suit the particular requirements of your team.
Team building
Your team will be able to engage in a practical conservation activity, or other team challenge, and find out first hand about going green.

Make a difference
Your day could consist entirely of outdoor activities or part of the day could be spent in the pioneering, sustainably designed York Environment Centre:
- work as a team on a practical conservation activity to improve the nature reserve for its users
- engage in a fun problem-solving task
- join a nature trail or treasure hunt around the nature reserve
- explore your carbon footprint
- find out about greening your office.

To discuss the options for your Green Away Day in more detail, please contact John Brierley at the Environment Centre. All activities will be supervised by trained St Nicholas Fields staff. We will provide full risk assessments and health and safety guidance before the start of any activity. The cost of the day will depend on your team’s particular requirements.
